SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- Point Park University, the No. 23 team in the country, is in the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Championship for the first time school history, and the Pioneers (23-6) play No. 10 Corban (Ore.) University in the first round March 8 at 7 p.m. CST.

All games in the 32-team tournament are being held at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena in Sioux City, Iowa. The national championship game is March 13 at 8 p.m. CST on the CBS College Sports Network.

The first 30 games will be carried live on internet-streaming video by the NAIA and its video partner NeuLion. Click the graphic at the top of this page to register for the Pay-Per-Viewing that is $9.95 per day or $29.95 for all games.

The Point Park student radio station WPPJ-AM 670 will broadcast live on internet radio all of the Pioneers' games in the national tournament. Each WPPJ broadcast will be simulcast on the MSA Sports Network on MSASports.net.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The national tournament will be contested at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa from March 7-13.

The 32-team team field is divided into four, eight-team pods. Point Park is a #6 seed in the bottom portion of the bracket. Corban is a #3 seed. The No. 1 seed in Point Park's bracket is Concordia (Neb.) (31-2), the No. 2 overall team in NAIA Division II.

The Point Park-Corban winner will get the winner of the Grand View (Iowa)-Saint Mary (Neb.) first-round game Friday, March 9 at 8:45 p.m. Grand View (28-5) is ranked No. 7 in the Final Top 25 Poll, and Saint Mary (22-10) is just outside the rankings at No. 26. Grand View is the #2 seed in Point Park's bracket, and Saint Mary is the #7.

The tournament field consists of 21 automatic bids related to conferences and 11 at-large bids. The at-large bids were based on the Final Top 25 Poll, which was released Feb. 29 at 4 p.m. ET. Point Park was No. 23 in that ranking.
