Profile: An experienced guard in her fourth year in the Point Park program, Swedish enters her senior season among Point Park’s career leaders in 3-point field goals made. Over the last three years, Swedish has played in 78 games with 52 starts, and she has made 101 3-pointers. At the start of the 2010-11 season, she ranks sixth in Point Park history in treys. One of the Pioneers’ most reliable shooters from long range and the foul line, she is shooting 33 percent from 3-point territory and 79 percent from the free-throw line in her career. Swedish has the ability to play either guard spot, and she was Point Park’s starting point guard her first two years.

2009-10: Swedish played in 26 of 27 games and started four times. She was fourth on the team with 28 3-pointers, which helped Point Park have one of the top perimeter attacks in the AMC. She reached double figures in scoring three times, which included a season-high of 14 points in the season finale at Roberts Wesleyan. She had a big game with 12 points on 4 of 6 shooting from long range in a narrow win at Houghton. She also had 11 points and made three treys at Northwestern Ohio. 2008-09: Swedish led the Pioneers with 34 3-pointers. She shot 36 percent from long range and 94 percent from the line (17 of 18). She scored in double figures three times with a season high of 14 vs. SUNY-Canton. 2007-08: Started all 27 games as a freshman…averaged 5.5 points and 3.4 assists per game…tied for the team lead with 39 treys…had 15 points and nine assists vs. Carlow (Jan. 17) and made 5 of 9 3-pointers…scored 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting from long range vs. Hougthon (Feb. 1)…had a season-high 10 assists vs. Wilberforce (Nov. 27). High school: A 2007 graduate of Avonworth High School…won four letters in basketball and started three years…was an a WPIAL all-section player…helped her team to the WPIAL title in 2005.
