High School: Firelands HS
Profile: Davis appeared in 18 games as a reserve guard during her freshman season. In her second year of college basketball, she is expected to add depth to the Point Park backcourt and have her game progress with another year of seasoning. Davis can play both point guard and shooting guard. 2010-11: Davis played in 18 games off the bench and score a total of 31 points. She had 13 assists, four steals and shot 70 percent (7 of 10) from the foul line. She had a career-high five points at Mt. Vernon Nazarene and a career-high five assists vs. Pitt-Greensburg.
High School: Davis comes to Point Park after an impressive career at Firelands High School in Vermilion, Ohio. Davis was named honorable-mention All-Ohio Division II after scoring 1,256 points in her career. Other accolades include second team All-Northeast Ohio, first team Lorain County and first team West Shore Conference.
Softball: Davis is a two-sport athlete at Point Park as she is also a member of the Pioneers’ softball team. As a freshman in 2011, she played in 27 games, started 24 times. As a catcher/third baseman, she hit .290 with four homers and 11 RBIs. In high school, she was a first-team All-Ohio catcher. Davis was named the Lorain County Softball Player of the Year after hitting .475 with seven home runs and 41 RBIs. A three-sport athlete at Firelands HS, Davis lettered four times each in basketball, softball and volleyball.
