KIAC Tournament semifinals and finals are being held in Pippa Passes, Ky.. The KIAC Tournament finals are March 1 at 1 p.m. The champion will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NAIA DII national tournament March 12-18 in Sioux City, Iowa.

Point Park is seeking its third straight conference tournament title -- its second in the KIAC -- and a third consecutive trip to the 32-team NAIA DII national tournament.

The Pioneers, who have set a team record for wins in a season at 27-4, are the KIAC regular season champions and the defending KIAC Tournament champions.

Point Park is in the 'others receiving votes' section of the NAIA DII Top 25 Poll this week at No. 27 overall, so a tournament title is likely needed to secure a national-tournament bid.

Point Park beat Brescia in the first round of the KIAC Tournament, 98-78, on Tuesday. The Pioneers' semifinal opponent, No. 5 seed Berea (Ky.), won at No. 4 IU Southeast, 74-71, for a spot in the semifinals.

Berea, which is 14-12 on the year, has handed Point Park two of its four losses this season. Berea beat Point Park at home in a slow-paced game, 65-57, and then won at Point Park, 92-86, in a game that had a faster tempo.

Berea's home win over Point Park had the Pioneers shoot a season low 30 percent from the field, and the road victory was the most points that the Pioneers have given up all year (92).

Tune in for all the KIAC Tournament action with live audio coverage by the Point Park broadcast on WPPJ and MSAsports.net.

Note: Tipoff time is 5:30 p.m. ET but subject to change based on earlier semifinal games at Alice Lloyd. Follow the Pioneers on Twitter @PointParkSports for updates at game time.
