Point Park's 2010 schedule includes two fall events

PITTSBURGH -- The Point Park women's golf team will compete in two events this fall to kickoff the 2010-11 season. The Pioneers will play at St. Vincent (Sept. 17) and at Grove City (Sept. 25).

Point Park University women's golf adds two recruits

PITTSBURGH -- Point Park University women's golf head coach Gabe Bubon has announced that recruits Taylor Cormas and Ashley Funkhouser have committed to the Pioneers. Both players are pictured signing below.

Point Park adds golf program for fall 2009

Point Park Director of Athletics Dan Swalga was pleased to announce Monday that Point Park will be adding a men's and women's golf team for the fall of 2009. The Pioneers had a brief history of men's golf from 1966-72, and they will have women's golf team for a first time.

Gabe Bubon named Point Park golf coach

Gabe Bubon was named the head coach of the Point Park men's and women's golf teams on Monday. Bubon, who is also a men's basketball assistant coach for the Pioneers, is excited about getting the golf programs going.
