Roberts Wesleyan stakes 3-0, halftime lead in 4-0 win over Point Park

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Roberts Wesleyan College ran out to a 3-0 lead at halftime in beating Point Park University, 4-0, Saturday night in an American Mideast Conference women's soccer game.
With the victory, the Red Raiders (11-2-1 overall) took over first place in the AMC with a 7-0-1 record and 22 points. Point Park is 2-10 overall and 0-7 in the conference.
Roberts Wesleyan led in shots 38-3 and got two goals apiece from Erica Luedke and Kelsey Medeiros. Luedke got the eventual game-winner in the fourth minute.
Point Park goalkeeper Anna Shaw, a native of Mingo Junction, Ohio, made 13 saves.
The Pioneers continue AMC play Tuesday at home to Mt. Vernon Nazarene. Game time at Founders Field is 4 p.m.
