Point Park wins a Brescia with two second-half goals, improves to 4-1 KIAC

OWENSBORO, Ky. -- Point Park University women's soccer scored two goals in the second half to come away with a 2-0, KIAC win at Brescia (Ky.) University on Saturday night.
The Pioneers (9-8, 4-1 KIAC) kept within a half game of first place and got their record above .500 for the first time this season with the victory over Brescia (0-16, 0-6 KIAC). Point Park has won seven of its last eight games after a 2-7 start.
Senior Megan Kuntz and freshman Audra Lewis scored second-half goals to break a 0-0 tie after 45 minutes. The Pioneers led in shots, 13-3, for the game.

The Pioneers have one more game remaining in the regular season, a KIAC matchup at Carlow on Thursday, Oct. 23. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Highmark Stadium.
