Point Park is coming off a close loss to NAIA No. 25 Mt. Vernon Nazarene, 2-0, on Saturday but had been unbeaten through its first three games prior to that. Point Park started out 2-0 with wins over NCAA Division II Malone (2-1) and NAIA St. Catharine (1-0) before coming back late in regulation to tie NCAA Division II Walsh (2-2, 2OT).

The Trailblazers are under first-year coach Jake Warren, who took over for Josh Murton this year. Murton coached both the OCU men's and women's soccer teams the last number of years but now solely coaches the OCU men's team.
