Pioneers overmatch Salem International, 6-0, in non-conference play

SALEM, W.Va. -- Point Park won for the third time in a row and for the seventh time in nine games overall when it overmatched Salem International, 6-0, in a non-conference women's soccer game Friday afternoon.
The Pioneers (7-2, 3-0 KIAC) scored three goals in each half and held a 32-1 advantage in shots over Salem International (3-8). The homestanding Tigers had just 10 players available and had only nine finish the game.
Kristina Stammer led Point Park with two goals and an assist. She scored on a penalty kick in the ninth minute, and the slim, 1-0 lead stayed that way until Stammer notched her second tally in the 31st minute. Destiny James gave the Pioneers a 3-0 lead at the break with a goal right before halftime (44:58).
Jillian Evilsizer, Karly Shorts and Angela Robinet all scored in the second half for Poitn Park, which had all 32 players get in the game.
