About the Training

This summer at Point Park, three professional theater teachers will lead students in an exciting and challenging performance intensive that will culminate in a showcase of monologues and scenes at the end of the program.

Students will learn and refine acting, voice and movement skills through contemporary and classical works. This is not only a tremendous opportunity for young students who are serious about their future as performers, but also for those students who just love to perform.

This workshop will help prepare students with auditions and stage movement, as well as allow them to explore the world of performance beyond text. Students will work on one to two monologues for future auditions, as well as, work on a scene from a play with a partner or a group. All monologues and scenes will be presented on Aug. 9.

Be sure to sign up for new and exciting opportunity to work on and refine your student's performance skills.
