Assistant Professor of Education

 The School of Education at Point Park University is seeking an applicant for a tenure track position in Education qualified for the Assistant Professor level. We are seeking professionals with strong experience in K-12 teaching, strong background in educational theory and pedagogy, and strong instructional skills. It is preferred, but not required that the candidate possesses some teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate levels. In addition, candidates should demonstrate instructional practices that emphasize diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging.

Candidates should be prepared to teach in both face-to-face and online learning modalities. In particular, special consideration will be given to the candidate who possesses certifications in special education and/or leadership/administration. It is required that the candidate possess a terminal degree in the field of education. The successful candidate will begin in the fall of 2024 with the expectation of both teaching online and being on campus to provide service to the School of Education.
