Assistant Professor of Photography/Photojournalism


Point Park University’s School of Communication offers a BA in Photojournalism and a BFA in Photography.  The successful applicant will teach a variety of beginning and advanced photography and photojournalism courses in traditional and digital settings.  Secondary teaching areas may include video production and/or digital photo/video post-production.

An earned terminal degree in photography, media production and/or journalism or communication is required, as is significant professional experience in photography, photojournalism and/or related media photography. 

Point Park University School of Communication provides more than 500 students with a versatile, sustainable, real-world and professional communication education through sound academic coursework and significant experiential learning opportunities.  There are three broad sequences in the school: Journalism, P.R. & Advertising, and Media Production.
