Adjunct Faculty - Engineering Technology
DEPARTMENT: Natural Sciences and Engineering Technology Department
The Natural Sciences and Engineering Technology Department of Point Park University invites applications from persons interested in teaching the use of ANSYS engineering analysis software in the Spring 2015 semester and thereafter. This class meets on Saturdays tentatively from 11am until 2pm starting January 10, 2015. Ten relatively simple ANSYS applications constitute the course. These relate to beams, frames, pressure containing shells and heat transfer. Specific problems have been defined for use by the instructor. However, the instructor would be free to modify these as desired. The University values a sustained relationship with adjunct instructors and to this end other engineering technology courses, such as Properties of Materials, Statics and Dynamics are available. Applications must be received by December 12, 2014.
