Graduate Assistant, School of Arts and Sciences

Position: Graduate Assistant

Department: School of Arts & Sciences

Term of appointment:  Beginning with the 2012-13 academic year, assignment is renewable for additional term(s) based on need and performance.  Twenty (20) hours per week, during academic year (September 2012– April 2013).

Salary:  $6,400 annual stipend ($3,200 per semester) plus fully paid tuition and fees.

Requirements: Undergraduate degree and currently enrolled or accepted in the School of Arts and Sciences graduate school and committed to enroll in a minimum of nine (9) credits per semester.  Required to work twenty (20) hours per week.

Primary Duties:  Graduate Assistant will report to the Dean, who determines assignments/projects based on the needs of the School of Arts and Sciences with various projects including, event planning, proofreading, research, assist with maintenance of school website; assist with miscellaneous office duties.
