POSITION TITLE: Administrative Systems Analyst

DEPARTMENT: Information Technology Services

REPORTS TO: Director of Administrative Systems 

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Providing expert ability as part of the administrative systems on campus including but not limited to the ERP and related systems, document management and work flow products. To guide and coordinate users in the products and work together with departments on campus for increase efficiency and usage of existing and new systems.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  Requires a bachelor’s Degree in Information Sciences or other technical related field. 1 to 2 years work experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, highly self-motivated and directed; keen attention to detail; exceptional customer service orientation. Must have a positive; the ability to manage multiple priorities; proactive communication with superiors; Ability to present information in a meaningful and impactful way. Excellent problem solving and organizational skills; and the ability to work well with all levels of personnel in the organization.

  • Attendance and punctuality 


1.         Developing expert level knowledge of the administrative systems on campus.

2.         Work with Administrative Systems team to coordinate solutions for users. 

3.         Implement and deliver organization and training to the Module Managers group.

4.         Provide second level user support for the administrative systems.

5.         Evaluate new technological solutions for administrative processes.

6.         Participates in implementation of new and existing administrative systems.

7.         Participate in the internal user’s group meetings

8.         Keep current with the latest technologies and applications relevant to the Point Park University computing environment

9.         Maintain documentation and procedural information

10.        Attend meetings, conferences and training classes as needed

11.        Function as a member of the Information Technology team

12.        Provide technical support for the University ERP modules and provide upper tier support for the University helpdesk

13.        Assist the Director and team members with special projects as needed


Job may require lifting light weight objects (1-10 lbs) with no repetitive bending or stooping.  Occasionally lift average weight objects (1-10 lbs).

Frequent computer use at workstation, up to eight hours per day.

Mobility within the office. Ability to walk, sit, stand and climb stairs. Ability to use hands and fingers, to handle office equipment, records and files. Occasionally required to reach with arms and hands, and to stoop, kneel or crouch. Vision abilities required by this job include the ability to read and discern written errors on paper and electronic documents. Ability to talk and hear. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
