Carrnivale Theatrics, founded by Point Park University junior musical theatre majors Maggie Carr and Justin Fortunato, along with Duquesne University major Bob Neumeyer, will stage Sweeney Todd as their premiere production at the New Hazlett Theater, July 16 – 18, 2009. Proceeds benefit the Pittsburgh affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Point Park University to Add Golf Teams in the Fall
The Point Park athletic department announced Monday that it will be adding a men’s golf team and a women’s golf team in the fall. The Pioneers will be competing on the links for the first time since the 1970-71 school year, and director of athletics Dan Swalga is pleased to announce the addition of the golf programs.
