With flooding forecast for Downtown Pittsburgh starting Friday, March 12, the University asks all faculty and students, especially those attending classes on Saturday, March 13, to regularly check the Point Park Web site for updates.

After careful consideration of weather and road conditions, Point Park intends to resume classes and daily business operations, to the degree possible, on Thursday, Feb. 11.

Point Park is closed Feb. 10. All classes are cancelled. Faculty and staff do not report. The Children's School is closed. As of Wednesday morning, auditions for the Conservatory of Performing Arts will be held as scheduled on Friday and Saturday; check back regularly in the event weather conditions cause audition status to change.

The Sunday, Feb. 7, performance of "Buried Child" at the Pittsburgh Playhouse has been cancelled due to the snowstorm.

Due to inclement weather, Point Park University will be closed on Saturday, February 6. All classes and performances at the Pittsburgh Playhouse will be cancelled.

The Point Park athletic department announced Monday that it will be adding a men’s golf team and a women’s golf team in the fall.
