University Receives Support for Pittsburgh Promise Students
Point Park has received a $15,000 grant from the Massey Charitable Trust for support of the Pittsburgh Promise students at the University. Last year, the University welcomed 31 students who participated in the Pittsburgh Promise program. Point Park will be providing dedicated support to these students to help them successfully navigate and complete their college education. This includes shepherding the students through the admissions, financial aid, and advising processes; linking students with appropriate existing services and programs that provide student support; and maintaining contact with the students at regular intervals throughout the semester.
