Point Park University has announced the election of two candidates for membership on the Board of Trustees: Anne Lewis and Kishore K. Gopaul.

Anne Lewis is board chair of Oxford Development Company, one of the Pittsburgh region's most prominent privately held enterprises. She co-chairs the Pittsburgh Promise and chairs the Children's Museum's "Making Community Places" capital campaign. Lewis has also led major development efforts for the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, Fox Chapel Country Day School and Shady Side Academy. Lewis was elected to the board of directors of the Children's Museum in 1991, serving as board vice president for three years and as president from 1997 to 2004. In 2001, Lewis led the museum in a $31 million capital campaign to underwrite the consolidation and repurposing of the museum's former home in the Old Post Office Building and the adjacent Buhl Science Center. Lewis also serves on the boards of UPMC, the United Way of Allegheny County, the Children's Institute, Child Watch of Pittsburgh, the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and Family Communications, Inc.

Kishore K. Gopaul is currently the vice chairman of CNG Participations & Gestion SA - Switzerland and vice chairman and managing partner of Courvoisier & AssociƩs SA (Independent Asset Management Group) - Switzerland. He is also Chairman of MerchantBridge (Switzerland) SA - Switzerland. Previously, Gopaul served as Senior Advisor to the Chairman of United Group. He also held positions at Citibank/Citicorp and Rogers Group. Gopaul is a 1974 and 1975 graduate of Point Park with degrees in economics/politics and operations management. He received an honorary doctorate of law from Point Park in 2003.
