In honor of Support Women Artists Now (SWAN) Day on March 27, New York City Borders locations will be recognizing playwright and Point Park University adjunct professor, Coni Ciongoli-Koepfinger, and her recently released drama, "Candledancing." The book will be displayed at the Borders locations on 10 Columbus Circle, and 461 Park Avenue. For every dollar spent by those with a special coupon on March 27, Borders will donate 10% to support SWAN day.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, "Candledancing" examines humanity's physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions by weaving together the words, thoughts, and feelings of its sincere yet disconcerted characters who seek to understand the meaning of their lives. Regardless of innocent intentions, all involved find themselves subject to reproof, and new light is shed on the mortal condition. "Candledancing" captures the essence of medieval theology within a modern scenario.

Koepfinger has an M.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and enjoys teaching theatre, composition, and literature, in addition to writing dramas performed around the globe.
