Questions to Consider

Questions to Consider Before you Decide to Drink.

Why do you drink and what do you achieve from your drinking?

Are you really more fun when you are drinking or do people say that because they enjoy making fun of your drunken behavior?

What are the negative effects and the positive effects of your drinking?

How many students are really drinking as much as you?

How much time and money are you spending that involves alcohol use?

How many negative consequences occured at the end of your past drinking nights?
-such as verbal or physical fights with roommates or friends, hangovers, neglecting school work because you are too tired from partying the night before, underage drinking charges, DUI charges, campus drinking sanctions, missing activities or appointments that you would had made if you weren't drinking, and sexual relations that you regretted
the next day.

Is your alcohol use worth the time, money and the possible negative consequences?

Take a few moments to really evaluate your drinking habits and what you really gain from them.
