Residence Hall Move-In

Move-In Days

Fall 2024

We need your help to make Move-In Days run smoothly. Please read all the information that follows and if you have questions contact the Office of Student Life at 412-392-8026 or studentlife@pointpark.edu. 

  • Individual housing assignments and move-in information will be sent mid-July to your permanent address on file with the university and your Point Park email.
  • Students will be assigned a specific move-in date according to the schedule below and will receive information on how to choose their move-in time (between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.) along with their move-in information*
  • Make sure to arrive at your move-in time.  
  • Students and their guests will have one-hour access to one (1) free parking space in the Student Center parking lot on campus*
  • Two bins will be provided to transport your belongs from your vehicle to your room*
  • Staff will be on-hand to guide you through the move-in process.
*Athletes and Foundations for Success students will receive specific move-in time and process information from their program, which may differ from the information above.

 

Move-In Schedule

Students will be assigned a specific move-in date according to the schedule below and will receive a link to choose their move-in time (between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.).  If you are unable to move-in at your assigned time, contact the Office of Student Life as soon as possible at 412-392-8026 or studentlife@pointpark.edu. 

Athletes and Foundations for Success students will receive specific move-in time and process information from their program, which may differ from the information above.

Move-In FAQs

General move-in hours are 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on each of the listed move-in days.  Students will receive information on how to choose their move-in time on their assigned move-in day.

We ask everyone to adhere to their given date and time in order to best follow safety guidelines. If you are unable to make your assigned date and time, please:

  • Contact the Office of Student Life at 412-392-8026 or studentlife@pointpark.edu as soon as possible.
  • Be aware, you will most likely be asked to move in outside of move-in hours.

If you are unable to adhere to your move-in date and time, please contact the Office of Student Life at 412-392-8026 or studentlife@pointpark.edu as soon as possible.  Be aware that you will most likely be asked to move in outside of move-in hours.
The Student Center is located at 330 Boulevard of the Allies, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 (see a Google map with GPS coordinates for the Student Center parking lot). You need to enter the parking lot from the Boulevard of the Allies.

No. After your one hour unloading period, you will be responsible for finding parking elsewhere to allow other families to safely move in.

There will be a check-in table for students where you will be given your room key, student ID (if you have not received it previously), and other move-in materials.
