New Student Orientation – The Pioneer Experience

The New Student Orientation Program, or, as we like to call it, “The Pioneer Experience,” is designed to help new students and their families discover all that Point Park University has to offer, make new friends, and get acclimated to their new environment. Orientation Leaders assist students and family members throughout the two-day program by facilitating sessions that provide a chance to meet peers, learn about campus services, and discover the range of opportunities Downtown Pittsburgh has to offer.

Spring 2012 Pioneer Experience Information

The Spring 2012 Pioneer Experience will be held from
9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13.

To register for the Pioneer Experience, first create a login for OrgSync.  OrgSync is used by Point Park University to connect students with various on-campus clubs and organizations.

To register for OrgSync and RSVP for the Pioneer Experience:

-Visit OrgSync’s website

-Click “Login to Register or RSVP to this event”

-Click on “Choose your Community” and choose Point Park University

-Click “Not a member? Register Now”

-Create an account by providing your first and last name and email address, then agree to the terms of the User Agreement

-You will be returned to the event page; click on “Register”

-Complete the registration form and click “Finish”
