Point Park is a comprehensive, master's level university with a strong liberal arts tradition and offers its students specialized services, innovative academic programs, and invaluable opportunities. The University currently enrolls 4,077 full- and part-time students in 85 undergraduate programs and 13 graduate programs offered through its School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Communication and Conservatory of Performing Arts.
Located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, Point Park belongs to a dynamic business community that includes top Fortune 500 companies and major U.S. financial institutions. Chosen for its "distinguished history and a limitless future," Pittsburgh hosted the 2009 G-20 Economic Summit, which brought together leaders from major world economies to discuss economic issues. Conservatory of Performing Arts
Point Park's Conservatory of Performing Arts is one of top programs of its kind in the United States, offers degree programs in theatre, dance and cinema and digital arts.
The Conservatory combines hands-on experience and rigorous training with internationally recognized master teachers, directors, producers, writers and choreographers that will help transform your dreams into reality. Students come from across the United States and around the world.

International Student Services Programs
International students make great sacrifices—including leaving behind friends, families, favorite foods, and lifestyles. To help them adjust and maximize their time at Point Park, the University's Office of International Student Services sponsors events and activities — on and off campus — to help international students feel comfortable in their new community. We also promote cultural exchange opportunities to help build appreciation for and understanding of different cultures. Some of our programs include:

Point Park's Cultural Summit
Point Park’s Cultural Summit is a large-scale event sponsored by the ISSE office offered each academic year and open to the entire University community. The Cultural Summit was first hosted on September 21, 2009, in anticipation of the G20 Economic Summit held in Pittsburgh on September 24 and 25, 2009. The objective of this gathering was to celebrate cultures with great entertainment, traditional arts and delectable international dishes. The event was such a success that it has become an annual event highlighting cultures represented here at Point Park University. Below is a highlight clip from our Fall 2010 Cultural Summit- enjoy!
The International Student Organization
The International Student Organization is a student-run organization that fosters cultural understanding between American and International students through fun, educational events. Monthly meetings and outings are planned to highlight special events throughout the Pittsburgh area. All are welcome to join!
