Point Park University Readership Program
The goal of The Collegiate Readership Program is to enhance the learning environment on campus by exposing students to the news in their living, working and community spaces. Point Park University and USA Today have teamed up to bring The Collegiate Readership Program to students with a selection of newspapers to chose from: USA Today, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. The aim of this program is to get Point Park students interested in reading the headlines and hot topics that surround our society. Also on the stands, students can find Point Park's newspaper The Globe. The Readership Program at Point Park University is FREE to all Point Park University students and staff.
The Readership Program newspapers are located in the follow areas:
- Lawrence Hall Lobby
- Lawrence Hall Fourth Floor Lounge
- Student Center Lobby
- Pioneer Suites Lobby
- Conestoga Suites Lobby
- Boulevard Apartment Lobby
Point Park University and USA Today desire to implement a Newspaper Readership Program aimed at developing newspaper readership among Point Park University students. The Point Park University Readership Program also gives interested students the chance to have their writings and stories published! The National Gallery of Writing gives students from across the nation the chance to have their writing works published on the National Gallery of Writing website.
