International Student Services, a component of Student Affairs, offers specialized services to international students. These services include: international student recruitment administration and supervision of U.S. Immigration regulations (including the initial issuance and updating of the Form I-20 via a full-time International Student Advisor); coordination and implementation of new international student orientation; direct interaction with government agencies and representatives both in the U.S. and abroad; cross-cultural adjustment advisement; advisement and implementation of international student health insurance; advisement to the International Club; and contact with international alumni of Point Park University.
International Student Services actively promotes cross-cultural learning both within the University and throughout the Pittsburgh area. Point Park University students and staff have been invited to International Days at local schools, to Point Park University classes, and to various community groups to speak about particular cultures as well as broader aspects of multiculturalism and cross-cultural learning. International Student Services also serves as a source for publications and information about international travel, study, and self-enrichment.
Please contact International Student Services at (412) 392-4775 with any questions or concerns. For more information about International Students applying to Point Park Univeristy, please select from the list on left.
