Professor of Business Management Michele Fyola, Ph.D., presented on the topic "Leaders Empower Lives" at the Inspiring Lives International conference March 12 at the Westin Convention Center Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Pictured is Michele Langbein, Ph.D., modeling at Inspiring Lives International Gala. The conference brought in 50 leaders from around the world - from Singapore to South Africa - who shared leadership ideas and inspirational advice.

Following the conference, Langbein participated in a global gala with more than 200 prominent business leaders, nonprofit executive directors and best-selling authors. The gala included an awards ceremony, fashion show, salsa dancing and silent auction, which raised money for the nonprofit organization, Global Sisterhood.

At the gala, Langbein modeled on the runway a unique Brazilian design by Lana Neumeyer and met with Darieth Chisolm, Emmy award-winning TV personality, entrepreneur, author, speaker and business coach.

"The conference and gala brought together two of my favorite passions, business and fashion," remarked Langbein.
