NAEMSE's mission is to inspire and promote excellence in EMS education and lifelong learning within the global community.

"Jill is a long-time EMS professional and has been involved in every facet of training and education for EMTs and paramedics. This is a great honor for Jill and a great selection for this organization," said Robert Skertich, Ph.D., Point Park associate professor and director of the public administration program.

Oblak added: "I am excited to further contribute to the enhancement of EMS education and also to bring ideas from other areas of the country to our local system and students at Point Park."
