Professor produces two jazz compilation sets Friday, September 9, 2011
Broadcasting Professor David J. Fabilli, known professionally as David Jaye, has completed production of two three-disc "Best Of" compilation sets for HighNote Records in New York City. HighNote Records is the No. 1 most played jazz record label over the past decade.
The first compilation set is titled "Seared, Scorched and Smokin': The Best of the Mighty Burner" by Charles Earland, and the second set is "The Soulful Mr. Newman: The Best of David 'Fathead' Newman." The sets will be released on Sept 20.
Fabilli has produced nine other compilation albums for HighNote Records since 2007.
