Professor served as artist in residence at Biosphere 2

Patrick Millard, assistant professor of photography, recently completed an artist in residency at Biosphere 2 in Arizona. During his time there, Millard made gigapan photographs of the Biosphere 2 biomes.
Also, Millard gave an artist lecture on June 26 with VASA Project called “Formatting Gaia + Technological Symbiosis.” In his lecture, Millard discussed the inspirations that led to his photographic portfolio Formatting Gaia.
The VASA Project in an online media studies workshop that connects individuals and communities who have an interest in media studies, photography, digital media arts and sound.
