"I'm definitely more independent on figuring out where to go and meeting new people."

Why did you choose Point Park?

As a film student, Point Park has one of the best film programs around. Also, I didn’t want to go too far from home.

How does Pittsburgh differ from other cities you have visited?

You don’t have that cluttered feeling you have in the big cities; you don’t feel suffocated as much. At the same time, you still have all the opportunities and events going on like any other large city does.

Where is the best view of the city?

Driving around at night, anywhere you go. It looks like it should be a painting, there really isn’t a bad view at night.

How does living at Point Park differ from your home?

At Point Park it’s kind of nice because you can go pretty much anywhere within a few minutes. There are a lot of opportunities and events to attend.

What changes have you noticed in yourself since moving to the Pittsburgh?

I’m definitely more independent on figuring out where to go and meeting new people.

What is something that only Point Park students would understand?

COPA (Conservatory of Performing Arts)

Pittsburgh has been noted as being one of America’s “Most Livable Cities”, what do you think makes Pittsburgh so “livable”?

Pittsburgh combines both the features of a big city and a small city. You don’t fell like a number, it’s not polluted, it’s not gross.

Describe your experience living in Pittsburgh in one word.

Adventurous.
