Point Park University's Project Children L.E.A.D. (Learning Early to Appreciate Diversity) is holding a diversity creativity contest for 4th, 5th and 6th graders as a part of its 5th Annual Multicultural Diversity conference, being held on May 7, 2010. Students in each grade can enter by writing a short story or poem, or create an original piece of artwork that focuses on this year's theme, "How has diversity positively affected your life?"

Short story submissions must be 100-200 words and poem submissions must be 10 lines or less. All entries must be received by April 9th and submitted by the student's teacher. All winners will be notified by April 23, 2010.

A panel of judges will determine winners based on content, relevance to the theme and overall creativity. Three winners will be chosen from each grade. First place winners will receive $50, second place winners will receive $35 and third place winners will receive $25. Winners of the contest will be notified by April 23, 2010.
