Amidst the excitement of welcoming new and returning students back to the Point Park University campus this week is the concern over H1N1 or Swine Flu. University officials are being proactive in preparing students and educating them about the health services available through the University.

Upon arrival to campus, students will be given hand sanitizer with information attached about how to protect themselves from contracting or transmitting an influenza infection. Similar information will be posted on flyers throughout the campus. Helpful tips have also been posted to the University website about common flu symptoms and what to do if a student feels ill.

Students are eligible for physician office visits at no charge through the Student Health Center at Point Park.

Visit the Student Health Services section of the website for more information about student resources.
