Assistance with Course Work
Point Park Tutoring Services provides professional and peer tutors for students who seek tutoring in their course work. In addition, students may receive assistance with effective study strategies, such as organization, time management, note taking technique, and exam preparatino.
Point Park Tutoring Services makes a reasonable effort to meet the tutoring needs of students in a wide variety of undergraduate courses. However, we may not be able to honor every request due to limited student and/or tutor availability.
Tutortrac, a scheduling software, can be accessed through Point Web. This system will allow you to schedule one-on-one tutoring appointments, as well as drop-in services. For questions please contact Natacia Owens, Student Success Coordinator for Tutoring Services, at 412-392-8132 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit the Center for Student Success (West Penn Building, fifth floor).
Peer tutors are a valuable part of Point Park's effort to provide quality services for students. Point Park Tutoring services actively seeks enthusiastic and qualified candidates to become peer tutors. Tutors are paid through General Work funds.
Prospective tutors must meet the following qualifications:
- Overall GPA of 3.0
