West Penn Hall is the home of Point Park University's Rowland School of Business. Eight floors (six through 13) of West Penn Hall are occupied by the School of Business and include:

  • State-of-the-art classrooms;
  • Two student lounges;
  • Two computer labs;
  • Conference rooms; and
  • Faculty and staff offices.

The state-of-the art classrooms in the Rowland School of Business are equipped with:

  • A SMART podium (an interactive computer display and tablet);
  • Computer and Internet access;
  • DVD player;
  • Projector; and
  • Large screen with audio.

Faculty and students alike use this technology to make the classroom interactive and mimic a real-world, professional working situation.

West Penn's classrooms, lounges, computer labs and offices also offer stunning views of the riverfront and Downtown Pittsburgh. In addition, West Penn's location provides a distinct benefit for students who can connect with vibrant business players such as PPG, BNY Mellon, U.S. Steel, UPMC, Highmark, and more.

That means more connections to speakers, more options for shadowing and internships and ultimately, more job opportunities. No other business school in Western Pennsylvania enjoys this kind of physical access to such a thriving urban business environment.
