Background

Cheryl E. Clark is a professor of accounting at Point Park University's Rowland School of Business, chair of the Department of Business Analytics and Technology and a certified public accountant licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Prior to her promotion to professor, she was an associate professor and an assistant professor at Point Park. Clark has more than 15 years of experience working in public accounting, consulting and the healthcare industry, accounting for both an institutional pharmacy and a not-for-profit healthcare organization. In addition to her teaching responsibilities at Point Park, Clark has served as department chairperson, accounting program director, advisor to the University’s Student Accounting Association and on the Community College of Allegheny County Business Advisory Board.

Clark recently represented Point Park University at the American Accounting Association's Mid-Atlantic Regional meeting and completed the Accounting Pilot and Bridge Project training led by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants at the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Accountants office in Pittsburgh.
