Statement of Accreditation

Our program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering technology is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org.

Our programs leading to Bachelor of Science degrees in electrical and mechanical engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org. These programs are newly accredited, and their accreditation extends retroactively from October 1, 2018.

ABET-accredited programs have demonstrated their excellence during rigorous, objective, periodic reviews conducted by external evaluators. The laws related to the professional practice of engineering in most states give preference to graduates of ABET-accredited programs because the quality of their education is known. Students who are considering the study of engineering or engineering technology are encouraged to inquire whether prospective programs maintain ABET accreditation.
