Beginning freshman year, students in Point Park University's B.F.A. photography program learn and practice on professional equipment and are prepared to enter the real world when they graduate. Check out a sampling of work created by students in Professor April Friges' senior thesis class: 

B.F.A. Student Exhibitions

As a student in the B.F.A. photography program, you will have the opportunity to display your work as part of a solo or group exhibition. Students have shown their work in various locations in Pittsburgh, including:

Photography Alumni

Graduates are actively working as professional artists for a variety of publications and businesses — National Geographic Magazine, The Vindicator, Table Magazine, UPMC Eye Center, Westinghouse and The Picture People — as well as pursuing post-graduate studies at School of Visual Arts, Syracuse University, Maryland Institute College of Arts, among others.
