Knowing what our students think about us is at the heart of the University's continuous improvement efforts. Since 1999, Point Park has administered the Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory to students.

This survey has been taken by more than 3 million students from more than 2,100 colleges and universities across the country. Not only does the SSI provide valuable data specific to Point Park University students, but it enables the University to make comparisons to students from peer institutions. The latest SSI findings include more than 1,600 student opinions gathered at Point Park. These include the following ranked highly by students:

  • Nearly all of the faculty are knowledgeable in their field
  • I'm being educated in a diverse environment
  • Instruction in my major field is excellent
  • Online processes are convenient and beneficial

The University's student-satisfaction results have been continually on the rise in recent years. Part of this is attributed to the University's investment of $32 million in capital improvements to enhance the quality of life for students, faculty and staff. Since 2008, student-satisfaction ratings increased on 69 of the 79 question items considered - or 87 percent.

We take great pride in these results. Interested in more information? Read the SSI report. But first, read more about the proven value of a Point Park education:
