Anthony Gaglierd, M.S., is a full-time instructor in the Department of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology. He spent 47 years working in public and environmental health for the Allegheny County Health Department and has been teaching various courses in the undergraduate natural sciences programs as well as the Master of Science in Environmental Studies program at Point Park for more than 25 years. Gaglierd has also been an instructor at the Community College of Allegheny County, the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy, the Allegheny County Fire Academy, American Water Works Association and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. In addition, Gaglierd served as a radiation safety officer for Allegheny County, a radiological officer for Allegheny County Emergency Services and a member and team leader of the East Borough Hazardous Materials Response Team.
