Film Production Workshop for High School Students

Gain Filmmaking Experience Using State-of-the-Art Equipment and Facilities

High school students will gain hands-on filmmaking experience at Point Park University's Film Production Workshop on Friday, Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

Hosted by the School of Theatre, Film and Animation, the Film Production Workshop takes students through the filmmaking process from production to post-production. 

Film Production Workshop Highlights

Students will have the opportunity to:

• Watch and participate in filming a scene in the department's soundstage.
• Learn about the production crew positions.
• Try out the production crew positions.
• See a post-production workflow edit in our post-production facilities using Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Pro Tools and the Dolby Atmos mixing room.
