Pre-Screen Submission Process

A pre-screen video submission is required for acting and musical theatre applicants. You must complete the pre-screen process in order to be considered for an in-person audition/interview.

Due to the number of students who audition each year for the Conservatory, we do not provide feedback on individual audition results.

Submit Materials Online

Beginning September 1st, applicants may begin to submit pre-screen materials to getaccepted.com/pointpark. Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants will be notified of their pre-screen results via their personal Accept'd account (in messages).

Applicants invited to an in-person audition/interview based on their pre-screening submission will receive a registration link to schedule. In-person audition slots are available on a first-come, first served basis.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their pre-screen materials as soon as possible (beginning September 1) as audition slots fill quickly.

Artistic Review Fee

All acting and musical theatre pre-screens have a $115 artistic review fee, due at the time of submission. Applicants who are subsequently invited to an in-person audition/interview will not be required to submit an additional fee.

Conservatory applicants can be considered for an audition fee waiver. A waiver is based upon an applicant’s financial circumstances; i.e., you have received or are eligible to receive a College Board (SAT) or NACAC application fee waiver, you are Federal Pell Grant eligible (based upon your FAFSA) or your current financial situation stipulates that the audition fee would present a hardship.

In order to process a waived prescreen fee, you will need to go directly through Accept'd. Specific information regarding the requirements and process to request a fee waiver is available on Acceptd's website.
