This diverse and robust jazz concentration in the B.F.A. in dance program exposes students to a wide range of dance styles in preparation for today's job market while developing their individual artistic style.

These dance majors explore Broadway techniques, and commercial and contemporary jazz styles ranging from classical repertory to current trends.

Becoming versatile and adaptable dancers, jazz students build a solid technical foundation; this is rooted in daily jazz techniques, enhanced theatre skills in acting and voice and numerous performance opportunities.
