Hanjin Park is a director and editor whose work spans feature films, television, commercials and music videos. His most recent project, the TV movie The Messenger Has Arrived (2025), premiered on Korean cable television and is currently streaming across major platforms in Korea. His debut feature, Ruby (2020), premiered at the 24th Busan International Film Festival, an A-list competitive feature festival accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) and went on to receive a theatrical release nationwide in selected theaters across Korea.
Park's narrative short films have screened at more than 40 international film festivals and has been distributed via Apple TV. Expanding his artistic practice into hybrid screen works, Park recently directed and edited the experimental dance film Equilibrium: Stay Bodies, which explores conflict and balance through a two-body exchange of tension and reflection. Released in September 2026, the film screened at the Seoul Dance Film Festival and is currently on the festival circuit.
Beyond narrative and experimental cinema, Park has directed and edited projects for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Sesame Street, GNC, AARP and leading record labels across Japan and Korea, including a YouTube commercial that garnered over 4.5 million views. His honors include the Motion Picture Association of America Prize for Excellence in Filmmaking, the Jim Morrison Award and the Bill Lee Memorial Award.
