Benjamin J. Swogger, Ph.D., is a visiting assistant professor of psychology, joining Point Park University in the fall of 2026 following his role as a part-time instructor at the University of West Georgia. With research interests in analytical (Jungian) and archetypal psychology, psychoanalysis and the history of psychology, he has authored several papers, one of which was nominated for a 2025 Gradiva Award by the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis. He has also worked as an athletics coach for Carnegie Mellon University.
