Our largest program to-date creates a teaching newsroom that brings together professional journalists, recent grads and students to fill gaps in local reporting while blazing and sustaining pathways to careers.
A shared newsroom hosting six local outlets and the Pittsburgh Women’s Press Club. Located within walking distance to campus at 223 Fourth Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh, it serves as a daily drop-in space and creative hub for students.
A grant-funded initiative to connect journalists working in Pittsburgh and the surrounding river valley communities — helping them find new resources to support good journalism.
An initiative of the Center for Media Innovation, it supports citizen journalism and storytelling by residents of the Mon Valley’s largest city and surrounding areas.
