Make sure your information is complete

Now's the time to ensure that your financial aid paperwork is in order, and it all starts with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

It's never too late to file the FAFSA. In fact, you must complete the FAFSA to be considered for need-based financial aid. If you haven't filed the online application, follow our easy steps to complete the FAFSA today.

Point Park will inform you if, based on the results of your processed FAFSA, you need to submit additional information or paperwork.

For instance, the federal government randomly selects students for a verification process. If you are selected, you must complete a Verification Worksheet as well as submit additional required documents such as an IRS Tax Transcript.

Other students may need to submit an Explanation of Low Income Form or Special Condition Worksheet, which is for students or parents requesting special consideration due to changes in circumstances.

If you are asked to submit additional information, please visit Point Park's online financial aid forms page. All the forms are easy to find, download and print.

Check your status

How will you know if you need to submit additional information? The Office of Financial Aid will tell you in a mailed letter and via PointWeb, Point Park's communication network for incoming and current students. To check for missing paperwork on PointWeb, just sign in with your ID and password, then go to the Student Information section and click on Visit Financial Aid.

If at any point you are unsure which form is needed or have a question about the additional information required, please contact us.
