POSITION:               Application Data Administrator

DEPARTMENT:       Information Technology Services

REPORTS TO:         Associate Director and Database Administrator 

WORK SCHEDULE:   Fully remote    

REQUIREMENTS: 
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or technology-related field from an accredited university, experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; high self-motivation and attention to detail. Higher Education experience preferred.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:                
To implement solutions and troubleshoot functionality of University administrative systems including but not limited to Jenzabar One, Jenzabar Internet Campus Solution (JICS), Jenzabar One Web and other third party software as necessary. Implement and maintain administrative systems and initiatives.  

DUTIES:

  1. Act as a the main ITS point of contact in instruction, scheduling, and guidance in implementing Jenzabar One Web modules in all university departments
  2. Act as a technological contact between the Office of the Registrar, University Advising Center, and ITS to ensure advising module decisions comply with SIS recommendations and capabilities
  3. Identify areas that can be improved by leveraging available technology solutions provided by the university
  4. Provide expertise and technical knowledge about university applications or suite of applications, including Jenzabar One and third-party applications
  5. Provide top tier support regarding issues with software applications and educate users on specific applications.
  6. Identify common data and associated relationships, resolves data definition, data ownership issues, and ensures data integrity
  7. Strong ability to organize information, manage multiple tasks and use available tools to contribute effectively to the team and the organization.
  8. Communicate solutions with solid oral and written communication skills to other university departments
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
