Part Time Faculty - Literature, Culture, and Society
Point Park University’s Literature, Culture, and Society Department is accepting applications for the position of part-time faculty with expertise in various areas of the Humanities and Social Sciences: Western Civilization, American History, Global & Cultural Studies, Geography, and Government/Political Science. Opportunities exist to teach both on-ground introductory courses and upper-level options based on the candidate’s interest and expertise. Courses in Western Civilization, American History, and World Geography available in the Fall of 2022; other courses available in the Spring of 2023. Ideal candidates will:
- Live in the surrounding Pittsburgh area to teach on-ground classes.
- Have teaching experience, particularly in multiple sub-disciplines mentioned above
- Have a graduate level degree in any of the mentioned disciplinary areas
