In celebration of International Women's Day, Point Park University's Rowland School of Business Women In Industry will host AWIN 2021: Holistic Resilience on Friday, March 5, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The virtual event will be hosted on Zoom and recognize the impact, challenges and need for empowering women through mentorship and resilience.

The cost is $30 per person or $20 per person with a student ID. Register at AcceleratingWIN.org

In this half-day workshop, attendees will learn about modern mentoring, personal and professional resilience and how to facilitate workplace resilience while being challenged to build and empower resilience in others. Participants can earn up to four continuing education credits from the Society for Human Resource Management.

The keynote speaker for the event is Jayme Goldberg, founder of Consequential Flowers, a modern mentoring network, and former CEO of SilverLine Global Inc. A discussion panel on manifesting resilience in the workplace will include Angela Reynolds, Ph.D., executive director of YWCA PittsburghMyah Moore Irick, CEO of Irick Group | Merrill Private Wealth Management and Janet Manuel, director, Department of Human Resources & Civil Service and EEO/Diversity & Inclusion Officer Initiatives, City of Pittsburgh.
