"I am truly proud to be a Point Park University SAEM alumnus. Point Park opened many doors and experiences that have helped me throughout my career. I also spent some of the best times of my life there and forged many special relationships with people I am still close with today. The City of Pittsburgh and Point Park will always be dear to me."

"My reaction to winning the World Series was to jump around like a mad man and give my wife a big hug and kiss," said Fausto Severino '04, a Point Park University sports, arts and entertainment management alumnus and director of Latin America scouting for the Washington Nationals, who recently received one of the team's World Championship rings.

"In my position, I’m involved in the decision-making process of giving many young men from all different backgrounds an opportunity to change their lives in a positive way. To see some of them play in the big leagues, and be part of a World Series Championship team, was an amazing feeling. I was so happy and proud of them and our organization," Severino explained.

At Point Park, Severino was on the Pioneer Men's Baseball Team and a member of the first SAEM graduating class. During this time, he completed an internship in baseball operations with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Severino added: "I am truly proud to be a Point Park University SAEM alumnus. Point Park opened many doors and experiences that have helped me throughout my career. I also spent some of the best times of my life there and forged many special relationships with people I am still close with today. The City of Pittsburgh and Point Park will always be dear to me."
